For this Design Installation, designers were asked to create a banner that answered the question: "What does the future hold?". For this design interpretation, inspiration was derived from the vaporwave aesthetic. The banner's design is intended to provide commentary on many issues of today's world, contrasting past generations' hopeful views of the modern era. The design utilizes different window pop-ups and their placements to represent the overwhelming nature of the internet and how certain issues have less coverage compared to others. Upon looking at the banner you can discover many issues that are covered up by more bright and vibrant advertisements. This project was displayed in FGCU's Art Complex as part of the Digital Media Design Showcase. This banner was created utilizing Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
